PONCA: THURSDAY CHAMPS Author: David Bulmer

"Brad Allison completely dominated the 450 Mod Novice class this week. Allison is currently headed east with high hopes of taking home a Loretta’s title and after watching him throw down at Ponca we have a good feeling about his chances."

PONCA: MIDWEEK WINNERS Author: David Bulmer

"In the past we have only seen a handful of riders come of the C class and actually make an impact on motocross. Oscar Diaz, Michael Lapaglia, and Jimmy Albertson all dominated the novice class in a similar way to Brad Allison. Could this young Honda rider out of Vegas be the next big thing in amateur motocross? Stay tuned for more..."

[29 July 09]  Wednesday Day 2 of racing.

Rain has delayed the racing today. It will start in a couple hours late.
Brad took two 1st places (250 mod nov ) and (450 mod nov) and one 4th place today in (450 4 stroke non-pro). He led it for 2 laps a had a bobble and ended up in 4th. (This was the first race of the day after the rain delay so it was muddy).  He did great for it being the non pro class!

Tomorrow (Thursday) day 3 is the second round of motos for his races. He is going to be the first race of the morning.

[28July 09]  Tuesday, Day 1 of Racing.

(250 stk nov) - Brad came off the gate with the holeshot. Was in the lead, went down and fell back to 8th and worked his way back to 2nd place with less than 200th of a second from 1st!  That is only the first one. He will get them next time!!!! He can still win the title!!!!!

(450 stk nov ) - Brad came off the gate and a kid crashed causing a pile up. Brad was in dead last. He picked them off one by one all the way to the front. He pulled away and won it by a long shot!!! Racing begins bright and early tomorrow, he will be the first race.

[27July 09]  Practice was Monday and he did well looked relaxed and had great speed.

[12 June 09]

After taking home 4 championships at last month’s Texas tour; 1 at the Lake Whitney Spring Classic and 3 at the GNC International MX Final at Oak Hill – Las Vegas local Brad “Poorboy” Allison will not compete at the 38th Annual NMA World Mini Grand Prix in Las Vegas.  The local Vegas resident was unfortunately injured while preparing for the event last Saturday at Boulder City Motocross Park.  With a fractured left ankle Brad will be unable to compete in his scheduled classes: 250 Novice Stock and Mod, 450 Novice Stock and Mod and 250 4-Stroke Non-Pro.  After 2-3 weeks off the bike, Brad plans on returning to MTF where he will begin preparation for Ponca City and Loretta Lynn’s.   “I’m just going to train as hard as I can and get prepared so that I can hopefully win some more titles this summer,” said Allison.

[15 Apr 09] Brad is out of the World Mini. He fractured and sprained his ankle Saturday, practicing out at Boulder MX. We are all pretty bummed because we know that he would have started where he left off in Texas and claimed some more titles. He will be returning to MTF and training harder than ever to reclaim his titles at Ponca and Loretta's.

[6 Apr 09] MTF Brad Allison Is Our Rider Of The Month For March.   "Brad Allison of Las Vegas, Nevada is MTF’s Rider of the Month. Brad collected four national titles from the Texas Nationals despite not racing either event before. His previous best finish in a national was a 2nd at last year’s Mini-O’s so Brad made quite a statement and will be a force for the rest of the year in the C class."  read more ...

[28 Sep 08] Brad headed out to Alabama this weekend with some of the MTF riders to race at Monster MX. He raced in only the 250 novice class with a 4th in the first moto and 2nd in the second moto resulting in a 3rd overall.

[17 Sep 08] Training at MTF is very intense and a week can consists of several different things.  They meet one on one with a mental skills coach, meet with nutritionist and monitor what they eat, take supplements, gym, track time, road bicycling, mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, etc.  They keep them very busy and in great shape.

Brad is almost finished with his 2nd week of training and he is loving it.  He says that it is tough but it is helping him.  He is working on breaking some bad habits on the track and learning new ones.  He has made some new friends with the other riders and he is so happy to be there.

We are very proud of him!!!

[8 Sep 08] Our trip to Georgia was a good one.  It was long but we made it safely.  When we pulled into MTF, we were very impressed by what we saw.  The facility was incredible.  We were greeted by Colleen and a very friendly staff and they made us feel right at home.  After we pulled Brad's trailer up to his pad, we walked around to check out the different tracks, gym, lake, etc.  Unfortunately due to hurricane Fay, training was delayed a week and they were still working on the tracks.  We built a shed for Brad behind his trailer to keep some of his things in.  We took a swim in the lake and spent as much time together before we had to leave.  It was very, very hard but we all know that this is such a great opportunity for Brad.  Check out a few pictures at the bottom of the page.

[8 Sep 08] Brad's road trip to Millsaps Training Facility is complete and today was his first day training with the best in the business!  Check out the road trip images below and look for training updates in the next few days.

[11 Aug 08] We just got back from racing at Perris, round 4 of the Hot Summer Night Series. Brad started off the night on his 450 starting off with the hole shot and was able to stay out front with a first moto win. In moto 2 Brad got the hole shot once again after making a little mistake, two riders were able to pass him finishing 3rd with a 2nd overall for the night.  In his 250 class, Brad had carburetor problems. His bike was not running 100%. He took a 6th and 5th with 4th overall. All in all it was a good night and Brad came home safe.

[16 July 08] I am honored to have recently been accepted to MTF (Millsaps Training Facility) in Cairo, Georgia.  I will be training there for one year.  In this time I will be focusing on perfecting everything I have learned in the past few years and putting myself several steps closer to my dream of becoming a professional motocross champion.  I will be leaving in late August to begin training September 1st.

[12 July 08] Hot Summer Nights! Brad turned in some great results at the Perris Raceway and Sandy Valley MX Hot Summer Nights Series!  He finished 4th in the tough 450 Novice class at Perris Raceway.  At Sandy Valley he took home a win in the 250 Novice class and 2nd in the 450 Novice class.  More Pics ...

Brad and his family are working hard to get him into the legendary Millsaps Training Facility in September when he plans to join the intermediate class.  Gaining access to MTF is exactly what Brad needs at this stage of his career.  There is no better way to gain speed then the MTF way!

[1 July 08] Brad headed to California this morning. He is going to hit 5 practices and one race this week.  Today he will practice at I-5, tomorrow at LACR, Thursday at Cal City or I-5 again, Fri. at AV Motoplex, Sat. at Perris for a Hot Summer Nights race, and then hit a practice at Comp Edge on the way home.  BUSY WEEK!!  Check back for race results.
